Is your laptop screen cracked? The signs of a cracked LCD laptop screen are usually obvious, with evident cracks on the screen, or in the case of less visible cracks the display will show other damage signs such as leaked fluid and distorted video.

Cracks will usually create distortion on the screen when turned on with lines going across the screen, both horizontally and vertically. A cracked laptop screen will often cause the fluid in the display to leak out into the display, which happens when the LCD panel is damaged, again this usually causes visible lines running across the screen.
